More About Me

At 13, I was the first student to prove that students could help their families by editing videos for income, paving he way for Refugee Film School to begin. When my local employer wanted to meet their online editor, my dad, Hakim, drove me there. The business owner said, “Nice to meet you, Salar”, and reached out to shake my father’s hand instead of mine. 

Now, I am 15, and in addition to my school work, I work online for a Malaysian advertising company. I create daily promotional videos about new technology, while also managing and posting to their social media accounts.
